FBGS Technologies GmbH - a leading supplier of advanced fiber-optic sensing solutions and components based on Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) technology - has secured a single-digit million growth financing.
FBGS and EBDS Engineering joint forces and knowhow to demonstrate a comprehensive solution using Fiber Bragg Grating sensors to measure temperature profiles in copper molds during continuous steel casting.
Dr. Eric Lindner, CEO of FBGS is one of speakers at the first public workshop of the TOF alliance. The regional alliance of leading companies and research institutions have teamed up to include international experts for a high-level exchange on the latest developments, techniques and products to explore synergies with existing projects, within and beyond TOF, and to discuss future challenges on the topic. The workshop on Tailored Optical Fibers (TOF) for sensors and light sources will be held at the Abbe Center at the Beutenberg Campus in Jena, Germany on November 15, 2017. Dr. Lindner’s presentation will preview multicore fiber draw-tower grating MCF-DTG® sensors, which are geared for the dynamic measurements of deflection and shape. MCF-DTG® sensor is one of several other matured technologies and product offering, which FBGS offers as optimal solutions for many challenging applications.
