IPHT

The Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT) is a non-university research facility with an emphasis on application-oriented and innovative solutions in high technology physical systems. Embedded in the science campus Beutenberg the IPHT carries out R&D projects in the following areas: Photonic Instrumentation and - Optical Fibers and Fiber Applications.

The division of optical fiber and fiber application is highly specialised in the development of new sensor systems. This has already resulted in different innovative sensor solutions
